Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone company is planning to launch an eSIM Card. The Redmi series by Xiaomi is still the best selling smartphone. Xiaomi not only produces mobile phones, but it is also creating a renovation for innovation.
The corporate giant is now planning to launch its SIM card. It’s not gonna work only as a SIM card but also as a MicroSD card. There is a problem with all smartphones as they don’t provide the external storage. They don’t have any MicroSD memory card slot, which is bad for some users who need to store more data then the internal memory.
Even this problem exists for the past couple of years, nobody is bothered about it. For the first time, Xiaomi has this project. It sounds good.
Nowadays everyone has 4g handset. We are recording videos in 4k and downloading very high definition movies in 4k. We should thank to 4g network. But on the other hand, we are running out of storage. We need to clear the space whenever we record or download a movie. It feels annoying when the popup message says to clear up your memory.
Now Xiaomi gonna rid of all these things. They just got a patent for this card too.
Some external sources said that the Xiaomi SIM card will come with the 5G technology. This means that you don’t need to buffer for anything. According to the patent record, the micro SD card is not gonna be like other usual SD cards. They can be used possibly only in Xiaomi and Redmi devices.
Since the concept of eSim (integrated SIM )has already existed, it doesn’t get much attention. The eSim is a virtual sim. eSim is only available in the latest iPhones as of now. We are still waiting for the eSim feature in Android phones.
