Bajaj has launched of the 100cc Bajaj CT and Bajaj Platina BS6. BS6 is the norm that automakers need to follow. All these BS6 models now cost around Rs 6,000-7,000 more than the BS4 models. The Bajaj CT100 BS6 now starts at Rs 40,794. BS6 is upgraded from older engine Bajaj CT which was selling for Rs. Rs 33,402.

The upgrade from BS4 to BS6 brings Fuel Injection system in Bajaj CT and Bajaj Platina models and also receive improved exhaust systems. Parts will come in black finish instead of silver finish. There are no more changes in terms of look so you will not notice anything extra or new in this new BS6 model. Bajaj is yet to release the full list of changes on the commuter and New Platina.
Sarang Kanade, president (Motorcycles), of the Bajaj, said, “The introduction of these models begins the transition of our product range to BS6 norms. Bajaj Auto has scaled up their line-up of BS6 compliant vehicles and will make BS6 bikes available in the other models too in the next few weeks.”
