Types Of Jeans

• Denim – the original denim jeans were created in 1873
• Skinny Jeans – these jeans are narrow all around, but not tight-fitting or “legging” style
• Cropped Jeans – these are cut shorter than regular length jeans
• Ankle Length Jeans- these jeans come up just below your ankle bone and can be worn with flats or heels depending on how long you want them to look like they go past your shoes.

• Straight leg jeans – these are the most popular type of jeans and have a straight hem with no flare at the bottom
• Bootcut jeans – these have a slight flare to them, but not as much as bell-bottoms
• Bell-bottom jeans – these are flared from the knee down and were very popular in the 1970s
• Flare Jeans – this style is similar to bootcut or bell-bottom, but has more room around your thighs for movement

• High Waisted Jeans – this style sits higher on your waist than regular cut or low rise jeans do and they’re usually worn by people who want a vintage look

Low Waist Jeans:

Low waist jeans are tight-fitting pants that come down into the lower region of your hip. They can be contrasted with a high-waisted pair of jeans, which sit around the belly button or higher.

What you want to do is make sure that these jeans fit snugly on your hips and don’t have any room for folding over as well as fitting nicely in the thigh area. The darker colors, including black and dark blue denim, usually look better because they tend to hide wrinkles – but keep in mind that lighter colors also have this effect. If you really need a brighter color choice and still want them to mold close to your shape.
